Erection Problems: Causes, Treatments
Erection problems, also called erectile dysfunction or impotence, are very common. They affect men of all ages but are most common among men over 40.
Erection problems are usually caused by a physical problem. Common causes include:

- clogged arteries
- high cholesterol
- high blood pressure

- Parkinson’s disease
- hormone problems
- drug abuse
- sleep disorders
- injury to the nerves or blood vessels that control erections
Erection problems can also be caused by psychological problems such as:

Erection problems can be treated in a number of ways. Many men are able to get an erection but are not able to maintain it. This is often treated with medication.
