My IVF Story – From Despair to Joy by Becky Wilson

I never imagined that I would need to go through IVF to conceive a child. I had always assumed that I would get pregnant easily, just like my mom did.

So when I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility, I was completely devastated. I felt like I had failed as a woman. I was angry, resentful, and hopeless.

But then I decided to give IVF a try. And it was the best decision I ever made.

After two years of struggling to get pregnant, I finally became a mom. And it was all thanks to IVF.

If you’re facing infertility, I want you to know that there is hope. IVF may be your best chance to have a baby.

I know it was for me.

Here is Becky’s story of her journey through despair at being told she would probably not be able to have a baby to the joy of giving birth.

After being told that she may not be a good candidate for IVF Becky came to the Zita West Clinic for a second opinion and through our testing found out that she had low AMH – a measure of her egg reserves. We developed an individualised plan of action with her and after having IVF with us she gave birth to her beautiful daughter Ella.
